Dita Hockey Bags

Dita is field hockey, has been for years. We constantly work on innovation and technical development. This process has started in the nineteen fifties, when we laid the foundation for this innovative brand. In Pakistan founding Father Dita built the factory where the first sticks were made. Dita was one of the first brands that used composite reinforcement on wooden sticks. Later on Dita cut back on form and length of the sticks’ heads in order to meet the growing demands of the players. These wooden sticks performed just fine, but it was soon clear that Dita needed to look outside of Pakistan for real modernization. In the late eighties aluminum handles were developed and the wooden heads became replaceable, which added substantially to the lifespan of sticks on artificial pitches with sand infills.

When in 1992 the brand passed into Dutch hands composite sticks came on the market. Again Dita was ahead of the game and decided to start producing artificial turf shoes under its own name. Today it is impossible to imagine life on the hockey pitch without those shoes.
